Woodward Foundation
Established in 1956 as a private 501(c)(3) foundation, the underlying tenet of the Foundation is to financially support and give back to the communities where Woodward Communications Incorporated businesses are located. Since its existence the Foundation has gifted over $6 million dollars.
The focus of the Foundation is United Way organizations and "brick and mortar" projects related to Cultural & Civic organizations, Educational institutions, Hospital & Health organizations, and Social Services.
For decades the Foundation's funding sources included Woodward family members and Woodward Communications Incorporated (WCI). Currently, the Foundation's sole funding source is WCI at the discretion of its Board of Directors.
